About CRIC (Centre for Research in Commerce)
The Department of Commerce, has been recognized as a research centre in 2021 by Barkatullah University, Bhopal. It offers doctoral and post-doctoral research opportunities in all major areas of Commerce. Thrust areas include Banking, Insurance, Marketing, Public Finance, Environment. The dedicated team of faculty members consistently seek substantial support for research related activities from various funding agencies. Faculty members have recognition as journal editors, recognized reviewers of various esteemed journals and also have awards for their meritorious research activities. The department actively organizes different events in the field of Commerce and faculty members have presented their deliberations as invited speakers, resource persons in various national and international conferences/seminars/workshops and FDPs. The department is enriched with an excellent research atmosphere to nurture the same in its scholars to pursue world class research.

Dr. Neetu Sharma (Brief Profile)
An experienced and versatile teacher, Dr. Neetu Sharma obtained her doctorate degree in 2010 from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. She did M.B.A. from Shri Satya Sai College for Management from Sehore. She has 20 years of teaching and 16 years of research experience. She holds an excellent academic and research record. She has published more than 37 highly impacted research papers in journals of repute; most of those are peer reviewed, indexed UGC notified Journals. She has extensively presented/participated in more than 21 national and international conferences/seminars/webinars. She has been a resource person, invited speaker for national and international events of repute. She is the editor of an International Journal CIJSSL (Career International Journal of Social Science and Law. She has written more than 4 books on different subjects in Commerce. Her thrust areas of research include Banking, Public Finance, Marketing, Banking, Company Law, Principles of Management and Agricultural Marketing.
Dr. Rakhi Saxena (Brief Profile)
Dr. Rakhi Saxena, a dedicated and experienced College faculty with over 14 years of teaching and 10 years of research, experience presently serving as assistant professor in the Commerce and Management Department of Career College, Bhopal. An excellent academic researcher, who showcased her research in more than 35 national and international conferences/seminars/webinars. Proficient in creating powerful curriculum and e content in the fields of Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Statistics, Income Tax, GST & customs Duty, and Advanced Financial Accounts. Adept at working with students to successfully prepare them for personal and professional success in today’s world. A committed faculty member, passionate about working to further enhance the educational offerings of an institution. Published more than 20 highly impacted research papers in journal of repute most of those are peer reviewed, indexed UGC notified Journals.
