03-03-2022-Gender Sensitization Program on

Dept. of Chemistry in collaboration with Women Empowerment Cell & NSS organized a Gender Sensitization Program on "Gender: Beyond the boundaries". The aim of the program was to aware young minds about community evils that are leading to gender inequality.

Ms. Kumud Singh, Secretary of Sarokar NGO, Bhopal was the keynote speaker. She spoke about various issues that are making our society gender biased. She threw light on how we have started identifying genders on the basis of their physical strength, dressing, work etc. She also described the need to have citizens who have high moral and ethical standards and who know about the vital role of gender Sensitization. Around 120 participants were there who got mesmerized with talk of speaker. She actually awakens our thoughts. After the address from Guest Speaker, Students of NSS cell performed a Nukkad Natak "Meri Soch Mera Samman, Ye Hai Mera Adhikaar" which introduced the participants to various societies.

05-03-2022- Expert Talk in Women's Rights

On 5th March, 2022, Women Empowerment Cell and NSS of Career College, Career College of Law, Career College of Nursing in association with Young Indians organized  a Gender sensitization program on Women's  Rights.  Ms. Anjali Goyal (CA) andShri Om ShankerShrivastava (Advocate) was the resource person. Ms. Anjali Goyalspoke about the need of awareness about women rights.Mr. Om Shankar Shrivastava explained Article 15, 14, 16 (breaking the bias), 39 (equality for gender), 42(maternity relief), 51(duty for dignity), 243( reservation for women).All the faculty members and more than 100 students got benefited from the program.
