Physiotherapy is useful in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of injuries and disease processes like conditions including sports injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological & respiratory diseases, postural problems, rehabilitation following various surgeries and various geriatric and gynecological conditions. When used in conjugation with surgical treatment, it provides a speedy and complication-free return to normal activity.
The course provides several opportunities to the students for mutiaxial development mainly academic mental, physical and co curricular areas.Every year several activities are conducted by the department to encourage better learning for the students. Workshops, guest lectures, camps, awareness programmes, trainings, educational tours etc are conducted as per the academic calendar. Excellent job opportunities are present in both academic and clinical field in various educational institutes, super speciality hospitals, sports complex, rehabilitation centres, NGOs, clinical research centres in the country and abroad .
