Eligibility:

The student must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 40% marks in the respective qualifying examination from a recognized educational board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology. 

Duration: 3+1 year full time course as per NEP, 2020

Skills to be learned /enhanced:

Before microbiologists can solve the problems caused by microbes, or exploit their abilities, they have to find out how microbes work. They need to have practical hands on experience with microbes. They can then use this knowledge to prevent or treat disease, develop new technologies in various fields like Pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food etc. and improve our lives in general. Basic skills include interpersonal, analytical, mathematical, speaking and writing expertise, and further being detail-oriented.

M.Sc. Microbiology PG Min 45% in B.Sc. with any life science course 2 Years

Eligibility:

The applicant must be a graduate, i.e., possess a Bachelors of Science (B.Sc.) degree (Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Biosciences), BMLT, BDS, MBBS etc with a minimum of 45% marks in the respective qualifying examination administered by the concerned University. 

Duration: 2 years course

A trained post graduate microbiologist is widely employed in major industries and is paid high based on the skills they have. Besides the practical understanding of dealing with microorganisms, a post graduate in microbiology is employed as quality control managers, research associates and so on.
