E-YUVA Centre has been established at Career College, Bhopal in the year 2021. E-YUVA Centre has been funded by Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) which is a not-for-profitPublic Sector Enterprise, set up by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India as an Interface Agency to strengthen and empower the emerging Biotech enterprise to undertake strategic research and innovation, addressing nationally relevant product development needs. The BioNEST Partner of E-Yuva Centre is Riidl - Research Innovation Incubation Design Labs, Mumbai. Career College entails research and entrepreneurship environment with well-equipped laboratories facility. Various projects sponsored by Government include Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, Government of MP, University Grants Commission, Ministry of Education, Government of India, Biodiversity Board, etc. in addition to BIRAC, E-YUVA Scheme.
The E-YUVA Centre has well-maintained laboratories with basic and advanced instrumentation facilities. This includes Microbiology Lab, Molecular Biology Lab, Tissue Culture Lab, Biochemistry Lab, etc. Some of the advanced instruments available at E-YUVA Centre are Thermal Cycler, Gel Documentation System, Biosafety cabinets, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Cooling Centrifuge, Digital Microscope with digital transmitted-light inverted imaging system, Column Chromatography, SDS PAGE, Electrophoresis Unit Fully Automatic Biochemistry Analyzer, Vertical Tubular Furnace, ELISA Reader, BOD incubator, UV Transilluminator, Thermostatic Shaker Incubator etc.
In addition, IP, Business support, Entrepreneurial and Supporting Growth-Oriented enterprise to the EYC fellows are also available. Entrepreneurship Awareness Programs are regularly organized in collaboration with MPCON, EDII, CEDMAP, CEPAT etc. Entrepreneurship development is a regular feature at Career College, Bhopal EYC support will include technical infrastructure, technology trainings, IP management, technology business management, access to venture capital finance for setting up the industry.
