Principal's Round Table: Ensuring Digital Discipline & Safety in Your Institute

On October 8, 2022, Career College, in association with I-Mature Edi Tech Private Limited, organised an Academia Industry Event focusing on digital discipline and cyber safety issues in an institution. As the founder and chairman of Career College, Mr. Vishnu Rajoria, has a firm notion of social values and principles of justice and honesty, we are inaugurating a DCIM (Digital Citizenship & Internet Maturity) club in Career College Bhopal. At this inaugural function, groups of principles from different schools were approached and invited to achieve the motive of implementing an "acceptable use policy" and to initiate the digital discipline and cyber safety program, which was combined with digital citizenship education within the schools.
At the Principals' Round Table, a welcome speech was given by the vice chairman of Career College Bhopal, Shri Manish Rajoriya Ji. An introduction to the key concepts of digital discipline, AUP, and DCIM was given by Mr. Raghu Pandey, DCIM Expert. Mrs. Noor Jahan, a cyber psychologist and Director of Mind Plus Life, Bhopal, highlighted the importance of capacity building in students and the need for gaming counsellors in the present scenario. She also focused on problems faced by students, parents, and school management and how this club will help in eradicating these issues. The chief guest, Mr. Dhirendra Singh, principal of Birla School Pilani, addressed the audience and talked about how on the internet and in cyber cafes, students get involved and face consequences. He sparked awareness among students of crimes happening online. The inauguration of the DCIM club was done by the career college DCIM members. As a token of respect, all the representatives were given souvenirs. Mementos were given to the chief guests. In the end, a vote of thanks was given by Dr. Charanjeet Kaur, Principal, Career College,Bhopal. All the management, principals, and faculty members attended the program.
