National Girl Child Day

Department of Biotechnology and Biochemistry and the Women Empowerment Cell of Career College and Career College of Nursing conducted an event to mark the National Girl Child Day on 24th Jan 2020 in collaboration with Women and Child Health Department Bhopal. Chief Guest Shri Naresh Kumar Pal Commissioner, WCD addressed the girls and administered an oath to the audience on girl child safety. On this day various activities like Health checkup, Nutrition fest, competitions on poster making, slogan writing were conducted. Quiz competition was organized for the girls and prizes were distributed to them. Informative lectures by eminent speakers on POSCO Act, Women Helpline App MpeCop, Nutrition for girls were delivered to create awareness among the participants. Prizes were also distributed to the winners of these competitions. Approximately 350 participants from our college, various schools and community health centers actively participated in this program.
