Role Of Biotechnology In Agriculture, Health And Medical Industries.

A Guest Lecture was organized by Department of Biotechnology and Biochemistry on “Role of Biotechnology in Agriculture, Health and Medical Industries.” by Dr A.M. Deshmukh Scientist, President, Microbiologist Society, Pune on 24th Sept 2019. The guest was welcomed by presenting a sapling by Dr Nidhi Tripathi, HOD Dept of Biochemistry. Dr Deshmukh explained how Biotechnology plays an essential role in various industries as well as the unlimited opportunities in employability and entrepreneurial activities. He also introduced students to Microbiologist Society and explained how it helps the students in the future regarding research, projects, jobs etc. He also explained how they can interact with eminent scientist through real-time webinars by joining with the society. Students thoroughly enjoyed the session and showed their interest by interacting with the scientist and cleared their queries.
