A Guest Lecture On The Topic:Copyrights

Department of Computer Science organized a webinar on “Importance of Laser Technology in Physics” on May 1, 2020. The invited guest speaker of the webinar was Dr. Chandrabhan Makode, HOD & Professor, Applied Science, SIRT Bhopal. He has delivered a very informative talk on mechanism, working and importance of laser. He also gave information about the broad spectrum of Laser like laser is a source of light but it is different from other light sources; laser science is a part of optics that explain the theory and practice of lasers. It is mainly involved with quantum electronics, laser construction, optical cavity design; It is also concerned with the physics of laser beam propagation, particularly the physics of Gaussian beams, with laser applications, and with associated fields such as nonlinear optics and quantum optics. The session was immensely beneficial for the students of the Department who are pursuing their graduation in science and also to the faculty members of the Department.
