Educational visit to the Composite Regional Centre (CRC)

The Department of Paramedical Sciences at Career College, Bhopal, organized an educational visit to the Composite Regional Centre (CRC) for Skill Development, Rehabilitation, and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan). CRC is a service model initiated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The visit took place on January 3, 2025. The educational visit was coordinated by Dr. Neeraj Singh, Dr. Sarika Kukolore, and Dr. Kartik Chhonker, with the participation of 27 students. Students explored various departments, including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Audiology, Special Education, and Clinical Psychology. Additionally, they visited the workspace where orthoses and prostheses were manufactured. Informative sessions were conducted by Mr. N. Samal, and the visit concluded with remarks from Dr. Indra Bhushan Kumar, Officer in Charge of CRC. CRC is a specialized center that manages 21 types of disabilities, offering comprehensive support and rehabilitation services.
