A training course on Water Quality Analysis
A training course has been conducted on Water Quality Analysis between 27th March-1st April 2023 by Department of Microbiology, Career College, Bhopal. The training sessions included various important physical and chemical parameters used in Water quality testing. The training module includes measuring pH, Hardness, Chloride level, Alkalinity, turbidity, conductivity, total dissolved solids, phosphates, chemical oxygen demand, biological oxygen demand, mineral impurities(iron, manganese, chloride, lead, sodium) etc. Various steps and protocols followed in the microbiological testing parameters was explained The faculty demonstrated students with the basic yet useful techniques of total plate count, standard plate count, serial dilution and most probable number etc. Students showed great interest and shared their views and ideas during this interactive session.
