The International Day for Preservation of Ozone Layer

September 17, 2022, the International Day for Preservation of Ozone Layer was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by Department of Chemistry (Faculty of Life science) to promote activities for environmental protection. With pious blessings of Chairman Sir and motivation of entire management, various activities have been organized. Vice Chairman sir gave a motivational insight into preservation of ozone layer and environment. Dr. Vipin Vyas, Dean, Life Science, Barkatullah University, the key resource person gave deep insights to consume less for ozone layer preservation. The students were highly inspired by his deliberation. Competitions held included exhibit compitition, logo design competition, poster competition, report writing competition. We received huge participation from Bhopal, Indore and nearby districts. The students presentations were so meticulous that judges find it difficult to choose the winners. Around 12 awards were given and 20 were awarded with consolation prizes. The aim to conduct the activities on this occasion was to motivate students to use greener and CFC free alternatives of chemicals and materials for environmental conservation.
Around 100 students from Career College and outside participated enthusiastically.
