Poster Presentation Competition to commemorate World No Tobacco Day 2023

The Department of Chemistry organised a Poster Presentation Competition to commemorate World No Tobacco Day 2023 on the theme, “We Need Food Not Tobacco” in collaboration with Career Institute of Medical Science (CIMS) and Karkinos. On the occasion, Dr, V K Gupta, Medical Director elaborated on the harms caused by consuming tobacco and its products. He also emphasized the need to form an Anti-Tobacco Group of students to control peers and nearby areas to alert the masses to quit tobacco to lead a healthy life. All took a pledge to quit (if consuming) and never to consume tobacco in life, even second hand tobacco.
