Introduction

Commerce stream was established in the year 1970 with an objective to inculcate strong academic inputs, teamwork, winner’s attitude, and commitment. This is possible only by imparting quality education, knowledge. This is done in accordance with their preference of subjects by giving importance not only to academic knowledge but also developing basic values of life that are essential for sustenance and to achieve a satisfying professional career. As per the market trend and demand after a span of 31 years, Management stream was introduced in the year 2001 by providing a degree course in B.B.A. Our vision is to provide opportunities for higher education to a larger segment of population and to promote education for the well being of the community and take care of the career of the student’s right from the beginning till they settle down in their respective professions.

The different course offered by the department has been the realization of a long cherished dream of holistic development of its students. It is our continuous endeavor to encourage the students to develop their talent and to guide them on the right track so that they can achieve their goals today and in the future days. Having received success in a number of ways, yet we must not forget that there are many more miles to go and we must toil continuously to bring our performance from better to best. Our department believes that “Success Is A Journey Not A Destination”.

Commerce & Management Department organized a guest lecture on ‘Impact of Union Budget on Indian Economy’ for B.Com. Final year students on 7th April, 2017. The resource person for the lecture was Prof. H.S. Yadav (Eminent Prof. BU Bhopal). The students were overwhelmed by the detailed knowledge shared by the speaker.

The main purpose of this visit was to make the students aware about the negative effects of drug addiction.
